[There's a bit of a pause before the next message, but he's probably just moving around, judging by the changing scenery in the bird background. Most of it is just lakes, but it is probably different lakes; unlike Hikage's impeckable skills, his tend to take in more of the scenery!]

Someone told me the stickers worked for me, so I decided to use them when I found them here, that's all. Not sure they're all THAT fitting.

[ ...oh. Poor Marona because once the images do load he just stares at his phone for a while, a blush coloring his cheeks. Alas texting gives no indication of this, but his reply might be telling all the same. ]

Are geese beautiful? It's hard to tell from here.

[ It's a good thing Hikage is sitting and resting at this point in their hike or he might have walked into a waterfall at this deluge. He laughs at this of course, but the intricacy of using "lol" is a bit beyond him. Besides, he has a more fitting sticker for this. ]

[It takes a little while for him to reply after this because he was busy ~~dunking his head into the next lake~~ ~~getting chased by geese~~ probably trying to absorb everything at once, stop using new stickers on him he didn't ask for this!! Stickers are dangerous to his phone's structural integrity!!

On the bright side, at least LINE backs up conversations because that's important too.]

[It's fine they're always deep in some kind of cups anyways. There is 100% more fumbling here. He really should have spent more time going over sticker packs...]

Oh, there she is. I was wondering when I'd see a picture.

[--since Marona being recognizable is worthy of note, obviously. He's changed locales, himself, following both food and a rough itinerary for the day. For once he isn't really bothering to attend to business and is just wandering. It's so strange to have so much free time, this really is what retirement is like. In the meantime...]

Supposedly they're only open in the summer here.

That's a lot of...what is that, exactly? [ He's still a picky eater, though he has been trying a lot more food lately. Even if by trying its more like sampling whatever Subete is having but it's progress. ]

Their kitchen barely had anything besides these ready-to-make pasta shells. At least I brought nori.

That she does. That's some camouflage.

[Given her fashion sense, she is pretty much blending in with the forest too -- it's not quite on the level of #findthatanimal but it certainly could be a challenge to photograph. He amuses himself with that thought while he finishes up lunch -- he has a waterfall to get to in the later afternoon.

Surely it's a completely different waterfall, and they haven't just missed each other by minutes or so.]

Fried crawfish. It's quite tasty -- I'm told they specialize in seafood here. I suppose they have to do something with all this water.

[Despite all his airs, he's a pretty good omnivore by nature. He might have started sending Hikage more pictures of food just because.]
